First, the Innovators started out going through the manual to determine what is and is not allowed during the game. (We don’t want to give the opposing alliance points due to our alliance making fouls.) It is necessary to identify the different ways to score. This helped the team to prioritize what they want the robot to accomplish. This week was spent strategizing how to play the game and how to make the robot control the game pieces. We divided the team into different groups that would specialize the different aspects that we need the robot to accomplish. The groups are the CAD-ers, robot design, and programming/scouting. Each of the groups communicates so that everything will work together.
